there is sadness we all face at one time or another.
of course, for some there are more drastic happenings, but does that matter?
to have every single person have a bad thing happen to them, maybe more than one bad thing, means something.
there is no perfect, there is no way to not get hurt, there is no way to be always happy, there is no way.
every day, every smile, every person has known sadness.
" There is no hope for John, no hope at all. He could go to five hundred Clinics and spend ten years working the Twelve Steps and it wouldn't make a bit of fucking difference. He has been broken beyond repair, wounded beyond the point of healing, abused belond normalcy. He will never know pleasure, satisfaction, serenity, clarity, peace of mind or any semblance of sanity. He will never know trust of love ( A Million Little Pieces ). "
For that to be said, for that to be read, for that to be possible brings me worries i can barely comprehend.
There are people out there who live such harsh lives, i can't believe they still have it within themselves to breathe.
We all have something in common, no matter the difference...
we've all known pain and sadness.
So... why do we still bare to be cruel?
Why try and make someone else's life any more difficult.
They are just like you...
they've had that moment where faith was not there, where sadness overwhelmed their every breath, where things just weren't okay.
Sometimes... i just don't get it.
what's bring us more closer together than that?
All i can say for myself is:
maybe i can't be respectful and kind to every single person i meet and somehow make their lives a little less sorrowful. that doesn't mean i can't try....with my effort and my hope, and those people who just need that one poke forward... who know's.
maybe one less person would walk away without happiness...
& to be that makes a difference.
