christmas gifts

christmas gifts to friends and family aren't always suppose to be about how much you spend, or how big it is.
yes, there are things that your parents get you that are big and cost a lot of money.... but, have you ever gotten one of those presents from a close friend, or family memeber that just means the world?
something that beats almost all the gifts, just because they made it, or put time into thinking about it, something that is priceless.
well, i LOVE getting those gifts, but most of all i love giving them. seeing peoples faces light up just because the thought of you trying to wrap up a box of love... it's just as priceless as getting the gift.
this year i decided that people who mean something to me should get a gift, just a simple one i put my time and energy to.
they are & i am very excited about them.
i still have a couple more to make.... but when they're finished i'll take a picture and put it up....




christmas is a wonderful time of year.

i've realized- "no" is an answer that is okay to say: there is a reason you make mistakes: smiles are around the corner: i could talk about Jesus all day: things change: people walk in and out of life: older people are wise: you should listen instead of speak: taking steps not leaps: love is a real thing that comes in so many forms: giving love is the most wonderful thing: thinking before you do pays off: living in the moment is also a wonderful option: i come from a crazy family and i'm okay with that: my family in Christ is what keeps me going: questions are okay to ask: crying is always good: life is one thing not one person can truly comprehend.

every now and then... i meet someone who truly impacts me from the first time we talk, smile at each other or are in another's presense. i love meeting these people they help me believe that even with all the cruel people out there beautiful people are roaming around trying to make the world a better place.
