It's been a year already?

I haven't written on my blog since last year... my how things have changed. I feel like this year was the most hectic, life altering, exciting, heart throbbing, and aching year I've ever had. It was a year I'd like to call " Hello, Billie Jo... WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!"

It sure kicked me in the ass a couple times, but it also gave me light into things I was so unaware of seeing before. However, clarity eventually arose in several occasions where it nearly took my breath away. I was able to change my mind and change it again. I fell in love with opportunities, and traveled to places I needed to remember and came across others that I needed to meet. The beauty of what is in the world around me struck me like bee on the butt.

I then sank into the earth on my dark days because sometimes I felt like that was all I had, but what a beautiful thing that is to learn to appreciate.

Nevertheless, my photos reached a peak of intensity this year that I now thrive on and want to only continue with the captures. With the action of snapping away I was able to reach people on levels I never knew existed, and learn a little bit about myself that was too deep inside before.I am ready to start fresh, dedicate myself to photos and find souls that help me explore more into the unknown. The past is gone, but but my future is bright. I want to write more to keep reminding myself, I CAN DO WHATEVER I PUT MY MIND TO. Photos help me capture what is, but writing helps me think about what will be.

The rhythm of the leaves is different by the new presence of a gift I call independence.
All the colors have not arrived yet, but the steady surprise of fall soothes my soul.
The brisk air speaks through its roar.
Feeling for a new direction is what I decided to do.
Without color, I hear too much noise.
October welcomed me with a familiar hug this year, but it was tighter than ever.

The trees are just it's easel.

there are two kinds of forgiveness
and there is one way to breathe.

both, help you move forward.

to forgive, in one way
is to forgive a person who has done you wrong.
to be a person with compassion that understands that there is no time to be wasted.
to forgive them, is loving.
discreetly or directly, you're being the one to release unneeded anger in our atmosphere we breathe.
to help them live better, and for you to keep on living.

the other way,
is all and all forgiveness for the soul.
it cannot always be seen or said.
it is within yourself.
to forgive yourself is to love yourself.
to realize with full confidence that you can always move forward, past any obstacle.
to understand you are worth it.
to live love is only within your control.

the difference between one person and the next continues to amaze me.

its like one peice of the puzzle that is a green corner piece,

and the other piece of the puzzle is from the middle that is a picture of man missing a nose

and half a smile because the other piece of his face hasn't been found yet.

however, in some way they both fit together with all the other peices to make something better.

more beautiful and complete.

if we all unite would we be more beautiful and complete.

if we all loved, as holding hands like the corner of a puzzle, making two seperate sides join.

i wonder if the world would see us as one.

the difference is in the person holding your hand.

who are they, and can they hold on.

if they can, dont let go.

they might amaze you.

i walk held high in a place that feels like home.
there is energy that flows at my finger tips.
the sound is so sweet, it makes you feel at ease with where you are in life.
no time needs to coexist.
i believe that the people that jump out at me within a crowd full of thousands,
are the ones i was suppose to see.
there is a reason for my feet and where they are and where they stand.
the dirt is covering my toes.
the sun seems to follows us so that our face always glows.
i am with some friends i've had for years.
we bounce from rides, to booths, to tractor pulls.
seeing everything there is to see.
there is love within the trees, even though slight things change each year.
every time i come here, its like all the answers are in the wind.
i feel nothing more than life itself and its sweetness.

today the weather followed my mood as the sun radiated and the happiness awoke from even the angry.
it was a day where everyone shared a smile.
no one was left behind, and love was shared like contagious disease.
people were just people.
no judgment deserved.
the sun set and all I could do was glow.
today was the day that showed me
there is hope in humanity.
love is definitely the answer.

First off, this is not a piece of work thrown together to display something that needed to be finished in order to move on from point A to point B. This is a piece of my thought process of how I decided to grow up;with the influential help of an admirable lady. The thought process that took napkin notes, journal pages, writing during math class, blog entries, dream analyzing and quotes from her mouth to tie together a string of emotions that didn't actually need an answer.

"You have to believe you're worth it," Marie Shannon Long. As a teenager, I have received my fine share of the world that has made me constantly unsure of myself, asking questions that seemed to have no answers. In reality, all questions have answers.I just didn't want to take action and be responsible for my own. This year was when I was thankfully refreshed with a wake-up call from someone that decided to reenter my life, unannounced and completely needed. I decided it was time to be responsible. This lovely lady goes by Shannon, Mrs.Long, or Mommy. She's a friend that helped me learn how to direct myself without wandering down the wrong path,a teacher of more than just curriculum, and an awesome mom that loves with all her might. She is strong and truthful.She gave me that push I needed to get my priorities in whack.She showed me her life and how it had it's mistakes. Also, she helped me see that growing up is just moving on.

Like I said, Shannon came into my life unannounced but we were nothing more than acquaintances. I had only recognized her from prior years of teaching at schools I had attended and the fact that she knew my grandmother. However, there was a spark when I started saying hi in the hall ways and from there I knew that she was one of those people that I was automatically drawn to. I started opening up to her, and she did the same. She started sharing life experiences that happened especially when she was a teenager, and I was completely intrigued. She told me stories that didn't seem as if she lived them, but I could see with the intensity of her eyes how real the experiences were. Even though she didn't take as many risks as she could of with the normal teenage activity, when she chose to take part, it hit her hard. Then, when the stories were over I could see her eyes, the same eyes that were just reliving a teenage memory, reenter the present with reassurance of a learned lesson. So, after every story I'd take her learned lesson, look at the woman she was today, filled with strength, love and truth and make it apply to my life. Although, our experiences are different I could now enter a situation from any angle with eyes wide open.

With eyes wide open Shannon helped me see life from different angles and helped me learn that I didn't have to go a certain way in life just because I was facing that direction, I could easily turn around and go the other way. Although, it was my decision to turn around, I realized that I'm glad that I went down the first path. I experienced more, but made my decision that some choices weren't for me. As I felt like I was driving down all these curvy roads, once she came they were still curvy, but nearly as narrow. I had more opportunities to be strong, loving and truthful without so many distractions.

My sweet friend, Shannon, was more than just a teacher, she was someone that helped me learn my own lessons with the wisdom from her experiences and helped guide me through mine. She taught me that I needed to want to turn around. It couldn’t just be something I questioned. Then, when I sat there and told her that I wanted it, she was the one that helped me take action. She showed it with some tough love, but love all and all. I appreciated it because I knew that she wanted it for me too. So, I learned to move on from the roads that were too narrow and stay on roads that I could control and explore. As long as I want to move on, I’ll do just that. It’s all about growing up and believing I am truly worth it, and there is no question about that.

I wish I could be that person, I wish I just knew how...

We've all wanted to make a difference, in a way that crosses our path or the everyday situation that needs some altering. Well, if we just sit there and do nothing, it's not going to happen.

The point is, we have to try.

We have to put our experience in our minds and hold them only to teach, not to judge other people because they haven't had the same ones, or look at them with question of how they didn't choose better for themselves. We just have to be there, willing and open to change.

However, there is one thing we have to truly realize, we can not change the people we are trying to help. We can show them, help them, guide them, love them, we can not change them.

They and only they can change themselves.

I want to reach out, I want to know how to get my message across.

Determine the problem you want to improve and don't let anything discourage you. You can not stand in the way of your own progress, because then other people will do the same. You have to open your mind to all the possibilities. Yes, there will be time when you want to give up, and second guess, BUT DON'T. You're taking the steps to progress the world from point A to point B. Be open to help for yourself and take opinions as constructive criticism, not as, Man, I'm totally screwing this up.

Be Confident and Strive to be Beautiful.
Wake up in the morning and say something good about yourself. start it off as a whisper and shout it through everyday. I AM BEAUTIFUL. Our imperfections are the cracks that let the light shine in(c.w). Embrace it, embrace you, and throw your worries into the ocean and let them crash among the waves. Put your hands up, and SHOUT to the winds above with faith fleeting at your finger tips. Walk proud with strong, colorful feel about you.

Understand.
You are worth it. You can do it.
Be who you strive to be.
Practice what you preach and always say what you want exactly when you want to say it.
Let yourself fall in love, even if it hurts or doesn't turn out right.
Find a way that keeps you alive
and always try to learn peace.
Never say never unless your sure enough to say it twice.

I want to realize why time is always on my butt...

Know that time is endless for all the seconds you love with all your might.
Let your guard down every now and then. We are here, on this world to love each other, we weren't made to do this alone. It's worth it in the end if you're at peace with your soul.
Make the change you wish to see and make the world come alive. People will follow, people always follow. Make them follow something powerful a change, huh.

Ever felt like you just can't move forward? You are not necessarily in a predicament with anything, well anything but yourself; however, it seems as if neither you nor the world has any ambition to do anything except the mundane causalities of what already is?

Well, it happens.... to everyone.
It is not just you so push that out of the way.
I'm not sure what causes it. I've listened to many reasons to explain this sure occurrence of nothing but a pain in the ass...
The moon, reality, karma coming back at you, ignorance running amongst, satin taking over... basically the whole nine yards.In my senses as a leaning extrovert I know nothing except it happens & I think we, ourselves can stop it.

Don't let the moon, reality, karma,ignorance,satin, whom ever take over your ability to LIVE. You are your own. You can move forward no matter what force is against you. You jump first, because you can't be waiting on the world to change. Eventually you'll be running hand in hand with a step forward with nothing except a glimpse of the struggle that was like a fly that you could swat off your shoulder. You just have to dig into the ambition deep within, and start living with the present.

Like I said it happens to everyone, so if we all give it a try I bet we can overpower all these things that seem to cross our paths at exactly the wrong times. Together,we have so much power, look at all the things our existence has conquered over the years. WE can do anything.
